This is a collection of portraits that capture a more personal side of musicians away from the stage. Menuhin was fond of the photograph of him and his wife pictured, which was given the subtitle "A devoted husband". The photographs of musicians off stage depict their wonderfully unique and humorous side, and the photo book of the same name published by Tokyo Shoseki was well received.
Around 80 musicians were photographed for this series.
